Attached to the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts, the Naples Museum of Art is quite a structure for a sleepy Southwest Florida town and features many galleries. The building itself is substantial and worth a picture, with its huge glass dome and elaborate entrance gates, while inside the 15 art galleries feature permanent collections consisting of paintings, sculptures, and drawings covering American and Chinese subjects. Free guided tours of the 30,000-foot / 9,150-meter structure are available at certain times of the day from October through May.
